Chanukah in the Mosque

Join the NYC Muslim-Jewish Solidarity committee for a community-wide interfaith celebration, discussion, and social action!

We will learn about the Chanukah story and traditions, play dreidel (a Chanukah game) and eat delicious festive food (with both Kosher and Halal options).

12/10 is Human Rights Day, so we have several guest speakers to discuss current human rights issues including Rabbi Burton Visotzky, Director of Interreligious Dialogue at the Jewish Theological Seminary and a representative from Church World Service.

In collaboration with Church World Service, we are collecting donations for Syrian refugees who have resettled in the NYC area! All basic items are needed: toys for all ages, food, house hold items, please bring what you can.
