Stewart State Forest Hike!!!!

Let's visit Stewart State Forest for our April 18 event. It is 4+ miles. Nothing strenuous but please no beginners. There is a woodsy section which could be tricky. There is a great boardwalk thru the marsh. Dogs welcome but please keep distance from Lady.

This is good for beginners in GOOD SHAPE, you must be able to walk at a good pace for at least 2-3 hours. If you are slower you may want to skip this event. No guests. Dogs welcome. We will likely dine afterwards.

Meet at the Ridge Road parking area in Coldenham/Montgomery. Disregard the Rock Tavern part, I don't think it is Rock Tavern but it could be. The map pin is correct.

Hiking boots are MANDATORY for this hike as well as water, snacks, first aid and a pack to put them in. Wet rocks, leaves, etc., can make for slippery footing and PROPERLY FITTING hiking boots are important. We will be on old roads for part of it but woody trails for the rest.
If you are not prepared I will ask you to skip this event.

I'll update if the weather looks icky, usually by 8am. Please send me your cell, I'll return with mine.
$2 Meetup fee. We must have 4 people total to make it work. I will reschedule if not.
