About us
Established in Rochester NY in 1969, the parent organization Huggers Ski Club has evolved from a ski club to a multi-recreational and social club.
This Meetup group is a way to reach out to invite new people, singles and couples, age 21 and over, to join in our activities.
There are Club events that are not posted in Meetup, such as overnight ski trips. Please go to our website at: https://www.huggersskiclub.org for a full description of the Club, along with a calendar of events including those that may not be posted in Meetup. We run downhill and cross-country ski outings, snowshoeing, bicycling, kayaking, canoeing, camping, picnics, casual and formal dinners, happy-hours, euchre parties and more.
Outdoor events and happy hours are always free and open to the public, so come "try us out!" For events where Huggers Ski Club rents a venue and provides free or subsidized beverages and food, you will need to join the club. A link will be provided in these events.

"HSC Meetup Group" has a strict ZERO TOLERANCE policy regarding anonymity. To be accepted as a member of this group you must post with, and always maintain on your profile, a photograph with sufficient clarity of your face to be able to identify you. If you do not meet this condition, your HSC Meetup group membership may be declined or revoked. Thank you for your understanding and compliance. Chili Cookoff and Euchre

Once your membership and payment have been processed, please come back here to RSVP and let me know which chili you are entering.
We are accepting both Meat and Vegan chilis. Cash prizes for 1st & 2nd place in each category.
Depending on the weather, there will be a hike or snowshoeing at 2pm.
Check in and Chili tagging starts at 3pm. Chili tasting and voting starts at 4 pm. Beer, wine and water will be provided by the club.
Again, you must be a paid member to attend this event.
