Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea Novel by Jules Verne

Try to find a William Butcher translation (Oxford World’s Classics) or the Walter James Miller & Frederick Paul Walter translation (Naval Institute Press and Project Gutenberg) translation which are purported to be better translations. The Mercier/Lewis translation is the most common but it's rife with political censorship, mistranslations, and scientific inaccuracies.
