February Read, Meet & Eat
Details
For this short month, we will pair two shorter reads. Please read Becky Chambers' A Psalm for the Wild-Built, the winner of the 2022 Hugo Award for Best Novella. It's a gentle solarpunk story about a tea monk and a robot.
Please also read Octavia Butler's "Speech Sounds," the winner of the 1984 Hugo award for best short story. The latter can be found using this link:

$8 donation requested via cash, PayPal (clynncarr@gmail.com), Venmo (@CLynn-Carr) or Cash app (clcarrsea) to cover meetup fees (which are substantial) & small costs of hosting. If you can't, no worries.
It is expected that this will be an in-person event. Stay tuned for evolving plans and dinner ordering info. (Please make sure your meetup settings are set to send group communiques to your email.)
