Windbag Regatta

Join the fun, come race with the crew as we race down from Hawaii Kai to Wai‘alae Beach using any wind catchment system. Paddling is allowed and there will be a fabulous pot luck and coveted finisher’s prizes for various categories and one person will be crowned “Windbag of the Year”! You need not enter to participate, but you must be entered for a chance to win some great prizes, which will be door prize style. So, join us, or just paddle along, but don’t stay home!

Everyone is invited to bring a dish to share for a post-race potluck at Wai‘alae Beach Park. Bring your camp chair too. Meet at 8:00 am for a 8:30 am carpool. Launch about 11:00 am. (depending on conditions, may be earlier or later, race director will determine on race day) – 5 mi.

Entry Donation: $10 early member entry donation, $20 non-member entry donation. Make checks to Hui Waʻa Kaukahi, 411 Hobron Ln #941, Honolulu, HI 96815. Late donation on race day $20.
