Up the Creek Meet & Greet

Our last Meet & Greet event for the year we will take a jungle cruise up the Kahana stream. This is an ideal beginner’s paddle in a narrow, gentle stream. We'll be paddling a couple of miles. We welcome non-members on this paddle.

After the paddle we’ll talk story at a potluck lunch. Non-paddling family and friends are welcome to enjoy a day at the beach and join us for lunch. Bring something to share and a chair for lunch. Meet at the Kahana Bay Beach Park at 8:30. Launch about 9:00. Park at the picnic area parking lot on the Kaaawa side of the park.

A limited number of loaner kayaks will be available for this special event. Please read and agree to following our loaner kayak etiquette before requesting a loaner. If you want to borrow a kayak contact the paddle leader, Terry Shimabukuro, by Friday, 10/7, by Meetup message or text at (619) 777-8518 to reserve one.
