Coffee & Creative Coworking

Let us drink coffee and get stuff done! Got a creative project that you want to start or work on? Why not work on it in the company of like-minded people!

We will meet in the public area of Daze, the coffee house in the Monocle building.

This is a casual gathering that combines a social and a creative coworking session. I want to keep this as informal as possible but I was thinking of the following general schedule:

13:00 - 13:30: Introduce ourselves and our projects / general socialising - feel free to start your project in this time. Grab a coffee / beverage of your choice.

13:30 - 14:30: Focused work

14:30 - 14:45: Break

14:45 - 15:45: Focused work

15:45 - 16:00: Quick chat about progress / general socialising + there's the option to continue if people want.

The idea behind this session is to break through any inertia you might be feeling through the process of body-doubling / mild social pressure / changing your environment. This hopefully will help motivation, productivity, and creativity. If this goes well, we can make it a regular thing. Who knows, you might just meet a collaborator for a future project.

Whether is writing that next book chapter, editing those photos, putting a that online portfolio together, or just trying something new, this might just be the time and place to get it done.

Bring a laptop or whatever you are working on. Remember headphones if you require them. Keep in mind that this is a public area with limited space and other patrons to consider. If we have the interest, we can look into booking coworking areas in the future.
