What we’re about
Hi! I’m Kay — a community-minded creative soul based in Halifax. I had been thinking about starting this for a while now. Recently, I had this realization that we all are seeking to be seen in kinder ways yet it’s harder in today’s world to find a space where you can show up as you are . A space where you don’t have to perform and your depth and kindness is valued. So, I am on this mission to create effortless gatherings that are centred around authentic community, creativity and conversations. My goal is to offer events that make us all feel seen.
What to Expect
I’m hosting relaxed meetups around Halifax—from adult coloring in the park, to gentle community chats, to meditation hangouts. Most events are pay-what-you-can as that helps me with supplies and organizing. All donations go back into the club.✨
Whether you’re new to Halifax or just want a different kind of social space, you’re so welcome here! Looking to meet people from all walks of life and listen to your stories.

Book exchange social
Cafe du Port, Barrington Street,, Halifax, NS, CABring a book you’ve loved, one you’re ready to pass on to a stranger. You’ll leave with a new book to read, a few genuine conversations, and maybe even a new friend.
We’ll start with a book sharing circle, where everyone gets 2-3 minutes to talk about the book they brought and what it meant to them.
Then comes the book exchange: a random draw that pairs each person with someone else’s book.
We’ll close with a lighthearted connection activity (and maybe a few prizes 🎁) before we wrap up with pastries and coffee.
You don't have to be the biggest book lover, just bring some curiosity for books, stories and connections.
