About us
Hi! I’m Kay running the human connection club non-profit based in Halifax. I had been thinking about starting this for a while now. Recently, I had this realization that we all are seeking connection and community in meaningful ways yet it’s harder in today’s world to find a space where you can show up as you are . A space for community, shared presence, conversations and having a good time. So, I am on this mission to create effortless gatherings that bring people together in meaningful ways. My goal is to offer gatherings that make us all feel seen and connected.
What to Expect
I’m hosting relaxed meetups around Halifax, from painting, pottery, book exchanges, community chats, to meditation hangouts. Some events are pay-what-you-can while others have a fixed cost as that helps the club with supplies and organizing. All donations go back into the club.✨
Whether you’re new to Halifax or just want a different kind of social space, you’re so welcome here! Looking to meet people from all walks of life.
I hope to build something beautiful with our diverse community here in Halifax. So, join me for the next meetup!
PS- the club is a grassroots non-profit organization so we are still in the process of formalizing structures and building strategies for a long term vision. If anyone would like to contribute by volunteering/ donations/ feedback, feel free to reach out.

“I could’ve figured that out,”
this is your chance.Join us at Lucy’s Hydrostone Café for a cozy, collaborative murder mystery night where strangers become detectives and coffee fuels bold conspiracy theories.
We’ll warm up with Human Connection Bingo (so you’re not awkwardly clinging to your table), then dive into a fictional case file - complete with storylines, evidence, testimonies, and clues.
Each table will work together to solve the mystery and compare theories.
No acting.
No competition.
No pressure.Just clues, cappuccinos, and confidently incorrect accusations.
After the case is revealed, the space stays open for mingling because sometimes the real plot twist is who you end up talking to.
