This meeting has some cushion built in at the beginning and the end so that folks can mingle and chat casually a bit if they wish. If you want to show up for the presentation and facilitated discussion portion of the meeting only, that is fine as well.

At 6:00 pm, Bryan Tunnell will lead a combination of presentation and facilitated discussion. The event is inspired by the book The Pursuit of Happiness in the Founding Era: An Intellectual History by Carli N. Conklin. The plan is to discuss common mindsets during the era of the American Revolution about natural law and the pursuit of happiness. We also will talk about whether these ways of thinking remain relevant to modern times. You do not have to have read the book in order to follow along and participate in the conversation.

Agenda:
5:30-6:00 pm casual chat
6:00-7:30 pm presentation and facilitated discussion
7:30-8:00 pm casual chat

We will be in Meeting Room A.
