+++ Humane Tech Berlin and ThoughtWorks proudly present: [Workshop] Responsible Tech Tools, the Playbook. Please RSVP here and at the ThoughtWorks event (https://www.meetup.com/ThoughtWorks-Berlin/events/265211395/) so that we can plan better. +++
Technology reshapes the world. However, even the best intentions can lead to harm. The consequences of not incorporating ethical thinking can be devastating to our identity, health, business, economics, political systems and our social cohesion.
You have the power to help prevent these when you apply ethical tools. At the same time, ethics also affects the bottom-line positively. But how can we anticipate the consequences and possibly also mitigate any harms of our products?
Come to learn about, reflect and discuss a number of tools that are emerging to help you think through the future implications of the products you are building while at the same time create evenbetter products.
In this workshop, we'll take a look at what Responsible Tech Tools (RTTs) there are*, exchange on when in our process we can use those best, and actually play around with the one or the other framework based on your own project.
Important: During the workshop we would like to use concrete, real-world projects/products to apply the tools on. If you'd like that we use your product/project for this, please provide all the necessary information which helps people to understand your project/product and it's context quickly: https://forms.gle/SjzPSzyqsTgCUfm88 Deadline: Friday, October 4th, 9 am.
