Humanists in Action - Our Future: March for Abortion Access

Humanists and friends!

Are you disgusted and enraged by the recent Supreme Court decision gutting Roe v. Wade? Yeah, me too. Abortion is still legal in Minnesota - but our laws restricting access coupled with high costs and limited clinic coverage, make it out of reach for many people. Increasing access to abortion care is critical for our Minnesota communities and for those looking to us now for care and compassion.

UnrestrictMN and its partners are sponsoring a march and day of action on July 17th to demand that Minnesota takes the lead in ensuring reproductive freedom for all.

Feel like marching and rallying in support of abortion rights with fellow humanists? Humanists and secular folk value bodily autonomy, healthcare privacy, and the ability to make reproductive decisions based on personal morals and needs - NOT based on someone else’s religious belief or doctrine.

Supporters will gather at St. Paul College at 11:00am and march to the Capitol at noon. Our humanist contingent will gather together at a meeting place before the march - as yet to be determined but will be shared here as we get closer to the date.
