Humanists Join ERA Lobby and Rally Day at the MN State Capitol

Everyone is invited to #DAY1forERA at the MN State Capitol Rotunda! Despite a 1972 vote in the U.S. House and Senate to pass the Equal Rights Amendment, not enough states voted to ratify it by the deadline in 1982.

Let's join ERA MN at the Rotunda on January 3rd to demand passage of the constitutional amendment to ensure gender equality! Look for the HumanistsMN tshirt inside the Rotunda after signing in. Click this link to register and find transportation info.

11:30 am Capitol Actions & Legislator Visits:

• Sign in at that ERA table just inside main entrance to Rotunda
• Connect with the fellow Humanists nearby (look for our green Humanist t-shirt)
• Receive and write a postcard
• Check out ERA-allies advocacy tables
• Visit your legislators

1:00 pm Regroup in the Rotunda with fellow Humanists

1:15 pm Rally in the Rotunda

• Show up. Speak out.
• Demand equality.
• Activate and advocate.
• Help launch a successful statewide 2024 ballot initiative campaign.

Parking tip from event host -- I will be parking along the light rail line near Dale and riding the last few stops to the capitol.
