Humanism in Action: Flannel Blanket Service Project @ Secular Saturday

Join us to make flannel blankets for the Linus Project which distributes them locally to babies and children in need. Material and instructions will be provided. NOTE: this is doing a different process than in the past, because we will no longer use plastic-based fleece. It will involve cutting, hand-stitching ties in the blanket and simple machine sewing. Which are all tasks that beginners can do!
Donations to help cover the costs of materials (suggestions of $10) are most welcome - and not required. HMN will make up any difference.
We'll work on the blankets from 3:00—4:30. Afterwards, we'll join other Secular Saturday attendees in the gallery for refreshments and socializing.
