Mindful Living: Managing Information Overload

Details
In today's hyper-connected world, we are constantly bombarded with information. From social media updates and 24/7 news cycles to endless email notifications, the sheer volume of data vying for our attention can be overwhelming. This phenomenon, known as information overload, has significant consequences for our mental health, productivity, and overall well-being. In this session we will share strategies for managing information overload along with techniques for minimizing stress and cultivating mindfulness throughout one’s day.
We will begin with a guided meditation, followed by discussion. Attendees are invited to share their own life experiences and lessons with the group.
All are welcome in the spirit of compassion as we seek to support one another toward greater well-being.
Each month we explore a different aspect of mindfulness and its associated practice from a secular humanist and naturalist perspective -- drawing on the experience and wisdom of participants. This month’s session is facilitated by Audrey Kingstrom, Humanist Celebrant and HumanistsMN Program Coordinator.
This event is sponsored by HumanistsMN. If you are not yet a member, please consider joining to help us cover our costs and build the humanist movement. Not ready to join? Donations are gratefully accepted! Join or donate at humanistsmn.org
