Are you interested in leaving a smaller carbon footprint after your death? Have you heard of green burial, but aren’t sure where it’s available? Interested in learning more about the buzz around human composting or water cremation? At this event, mortician Angela Woosley will share information about the variety of disposition options available that can help you make informed decisions about your own end-of-life wishes, in an approachable and engaging way.

The presentation and discussion will be from 3:00 - 4:30. Afterwards, gather with other Saturday session attendees in the gallery for refreshments and socializing.

Speaker Bio:
Angela Woosley (she/they) has been a MN-licensed mortician for 20 years and owns Inspired Journeys, a natural funeral establishment. Previously, Angela served on the board of directors for the National Home Funeral Alliance, serving as board president for a portion of her term. She was a fundamental part of the working group who worked diligently to help legalize Natural Organic Reduction in the 2024 Minnesota legislative session. In addition, she supports the Land Conservation Natural Burial, working to make conservation natural burial a reality in MN. Angela is also a funeral celebrant and trained as an end-of-life doula.
