What's next for us as Minnesotans? While there may be some drawdown of ICE agents in our region, the work to counter America’s slide toward authoritarianism and white nationalism continues. We must steel our resolve to resist as needed, but also consider how we help with the hoped for repair and recovery of our communities -- and of democracy itself.

As humanists, we want to meet this moment with purpose and clarity. To push back against the dehumanization of our neighbors and the disregard for the rule of law. We come together to support one another in this work, explore our options for engagement, and help each other "find their lane." Do join us as we persevere together to protect our democracy and practice compassion.

This session, facilitated by HMN program coordinator, Audrey Kingstrom, will run from 3:00-4:30pm. Afterwards gather with other Community Gathering session attendees in the gallery for refreshments and socializing.
