Let’s gather in community to support a local restaurant while eating delicious, climate-friendly food! Join HumanistsMN board member and longtime vegan Abigail for a plant-based dinner at Namaste Café, a locally owned restaurant in Minneapolis’s Uptown neighborhood specializing in Indian and Nepali cuisine.

Namaste Café is participating in the HumanistsMN-endorsed Eat for Impact initiative, a month-long program that aims to help reduce the Twin Cities’ environmental footprint by promoting plant-rich meals at local restaurants.

Everyone is welcome! You do not need to be vegan or a full-time plant-based eater to attend. The only request is that attendees order vegan dishes during this event so we can collectively support the initiative. If you’d like recommendations, the host will be happy to help you choose. Everyone will order separately and pay for their own food and drinks.

For the month of March, Namaste Café has added two plant-based specials to its menu: almond masala tofu and roasted-spice pesto pasta with fiery spring vegetables. They also offer a wide array of delicious plant-based dishes on their regular menu, including curries, appetizers, breads, and Indian street food favorites. Their menu is available on their website: https://www.namastecafemn.com/

RSVP Courtesy: Please keep your RSVP up to date so we can give the restaurant an accurate headcount and ensure seating for everyone. If your plans change, we appreciate updates at least 24 hours in advance.
