Join fellow humanists and friends for hiking and camaraderie on the first Sundays of the month! Come connect with nature – and make new friends!

Our first hike on Sunday, May 3rd, will be at Como Park in St. Paul, from 10:00am-noon. We’ll meet by the picnic tables outside the Como Lakeside Pavilion between the pavilion and the waterfall. After the hike, we'll have lunch together at Dock & Paddle, an eatery at the park pavilion.

Make sure to dress for the weather -- including comfortable, sturdy shoes. Depending on the forecast, you may also want rain gear, sunscreen, and/or insect repellent. Bring your own water, snack, first aid kit, and walking sticks as desired. Hiking in sandals is not recommended, but you may leave casual footwear in your car if you want to change out of your hiking boots after the hike and/or during lunch.

Eating lunch afterwards is totally optional, but highly recommended!!

Please note that dogs must be on leashes at all times.

Future hike locations will include: Fort Snelling State Park/Pike Island (Mendota), Eloise Butler/Theodore Wirth Regional Park, Lilydale/Harriet Island Regional Park, and Loring Park. (Fort Snelling State Park requires a State Park Pass and parking may have a fee.)
