Is the pursuit of happiness a fool's errand? Or a misguided civic virtue (as in "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness")? What are the true sources of joy and contentment in life? And how fleeting are these states of mind? What constitutes genuine well-being?

These are the questions we will contemplate at our June session of Mindful Living. We will give special attention to the concepts of hedonic adaption and negativity bias, along with the power of a growth mindset. Join us as we share how "mindful living" can help us on our way to a good and satisfying life -- amidst the daily routines, everyday challenges, and inevitable heartbreaks.

Join us for our monthly Mindful Living session as we support one another in putting our humanism into practice. As always, we will begin with a short, guided meditation followed by discussion -- drawing on the experience and wisdom of participants. This month’s session is facilitated by HumanistsMN program coordinator and humanist celebrant, Audrey Kingstrom.

HumanistsMN is committed to fostering an inclusive, collaborative, and caring community for all our members. We welcome everyone who shares our humanist principles.
