Come join fellow humanists and friends for hiking and camaraderie on the first Sundays of the month! Connect with nature – and make new friends!
Our next hike is at Lake Phalen Regional Park on the northeast side of St Paul.
We will meet at Lake Phalen Trail Parking Lot/ Phalen South End at E Shore Dr, St Paul, MN 55106 Just northeast of where East Shore Drive begins, just east of where Wheelock Parkway becomes Johnson Parkway. We will meet on the north side of the parking lot near the path to the trail. We will meet at 10 AM and start walking around 10:10 AM.
Afterwards, we can meet at i Heart Pho Vietnamese Restaurant: 850 Maryland Ave E, St Paul, MN 55106 https://iphomn.com/iheartpho
Eating lunch afterwards is totally optional, but highly recommended!!
Make sure to dress for the weather, including sturdy comfortable shoes, rain gear, and sunscreen, depending on the forecast. Consider insect repellent, too. You may also want a first aid kit, snack, and plenty of water. Bring walking sticks or canes if you so chose. Hiking in sandals can be iffy, but you may want to bring extra shoes if you want to change out of your hiking boots after the hike and/or during lunch.
Future hike locations will include: September 6th at Lilydale and October 4th at Loring Park.
