It's time to recalibrate to the rhythm of a new season. With the onset of fall, many of us will return to more regular work schedules, re-engage with various volunteer projects, and/or recommit to neglected personal obligations and goals. And on top of that, we're all going to be inundated with the frenzy and fears of the upcoming election.

Let's come together, then, take a deep collective breath, name our struggles and stress, and brace ourselves for a demanding fall. We can support one another by sharing those bite-sized mindful practices and activities that help us stay grounded, focused, and reasonably calm.

Join us for our monthly Mindful Living session as we support one another in putting our humanism into practice. As always, we will begin with a short, guided meditation followed by discussion -- drawing on the experience and wisdom of participants. This month’s session is facilitated by HumanistsMN program coordinator and humanist celebrant, Audrey Kingstrom.

HumanistsMN is committed to fostering an inclusive, collaborative, and caring community for all our members. We welcome everyone who shares our humanist principles. We acknowledge the dignity and worth of all people -- every race, gender, gender expression, sexual orientation, age, social class, abilities, or disabilities. We actively promote a culture of respect, belonging, and compassion as we strive to create an environment where everyone can thrive. By participating in HumanistsMN events, you agree to conduct yourself in accordance with these values.

This event is sponsored by HumanistsMN. If you are not yet a member, please consider joining to help us cover our costs and build the humanist movement. Not ready to join? Donations are gratefully accepted! Join or donate at humanistsmn.org.
