Humanists in Action: Get Out the Vote Postcard Writing Campaign!

With democracy, human rights, and secular values on the line, let's do all we can to get out the vote in this important mid-term election year!

Join us for activism and socializing to send postcards to infrequent voters who are generally overlooked by political campaigns. We will be writing for a campaign called Reclaim Our Vote created by the Center for Common Ground, a non-partisan, Black and women-led voting rights organization founded in 2018, who focus their work in voter suppression states where more than 20% of voters are voters of color.

Encouraging voters is super easy! We’ll provide everything needed. We’ll start with a quick instructional session on how the postcard campaign works and then get to writing.

In 2024, the Reclaim Our Vote postcard outreach increased Black voter turnout by as much as 8%, so let’s support democracy and help get out the vote this election season!

Postcard writing will be from 3:00—4:30. Afterwards, join other session attendees in the gallery for refreshments and socializing.
