Let's get together to share a little 'Capra-corn' this October. We'll reach way down deep into the vault for the dark comedy classic "Arsenic and Old Lace" (Unrated, 1944). Directed by Frank Capra, this Cary Grant comedy concerns a pair of older sisters who poison lonely old men and bury them in the basement. Yes, it is B&W and it's funny. And we'll be able to discuss how much the world has changed in the past 80 years.

This is a great film to bring a 'plus one' along with you. Arrive around 6:30 PM for socializing; the film starts at 7:00 PM followed by some post-movie discussion for those who care to linger and mingle. We'll have some Halloween treats to nibble on -- or bring your own favorite to share -- and, as always, bring your own beverage.

Here is the IMDB link for the film: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0036613/?ref_=fn_t_1.
