"Cosmos: The Shores of the Cosmic Ocean" @ Humanists Gather
Details
It was back in September of 1980 that PBS broadcast the first episode of "Cosmos," the groundbreaking show by renowned science educator Carl Sagan. In 1981, Sagan was recognized by the American Humanist Association with the 'Humanist of the Year' award. Join us on the third Saturday of October to begin watching the Cosmos series together, starting with the first episode. There will be plenty to talk about afterwards. Come see how well humanism, science, and ethical philosophy all go together.
The group will meet from 3:00—4:30 followed by socializing and refreshments with other Saturday session attendees in the gallery.
