In her latest book, Du Mez explores the roots of White Christian womanhood and explains how it has shaped lives, families, and politics for more than a century now -- strengthening the current reactionary movement of Christian Nationalism.

Kristin Du Mez, best known for her book "Jesus and John Wayne," is a professor of history at Calvin University and a senior democracy fellow with the Public Religion Research Institute. She will be joined on stage by Rev. Angela Denker, a local ELCA Lutheran pastor, journalist, vocal critic of Christian Nationalism, and author of "Disciples of White Jesus" to lead a Q & A session after the presentation.
