Let’s talk about abundance. Is it merely a state a mind – or a material reality? Is it better to focus on what we are lacking or what we have? Is the concept of abundance the province of the well-off, a mirage for the demoralized, or a transformative posture? How do we honestly take stock of our lives and find contentment in a world full of contradictions and disparities?
We will begin with a guided meditation, followed by a discussion of appropriate ways to acknowledge abundance and foster contentment in our lives. Attendees are invited to share their own life experiences and lessons with the group.
All are welcome in the spirit of compassion as we seek to support one another toward greater well-being.
Each month we explore a different aspect of mindfulness and its associated practice from a secular humanist and naturalist perspective -- drawing on the experience and wisdom of participants. This month’s session is facilitated by Humanist Celebrant, Audrey Kingstrom.
