Come join fellow humanists and friends for a moderate, well shaded walk and camaraderie on Wednesdays July 1 - August 26! Connect with nature – and make new friends! The pace will cover a 4 or 5 mile loop during the 2 hours. This week's route will head directly to Cedar Lake to enjoy Brownie Lake's wooded trails. The Community Center opens at noon in the summer and water/bathrooms are available inside. Enter the parking lot via Franklin Ave.

Dress with sturdy footwear and sunscreen/glasses/hat. Consider bringing any comforts that allow you to cool down after the walk, such as a water bottle or a change of shoes. In the event of inclement weather, the Meetup event will announce a cancellation for that day.

If you’d like to bring your dog, please add a note in the comments section below and then arrive 20 minutes early to allow a brief greeting. My 4 and 5 year old Goldens will join me on these walks, and that gives them an introduction before our group begins to mingle. Also bring bags for clean up, and a water bowl for afterwards.
