Please join our zoom only partner event with Braver Angels Orange County Alliance, on Thursday November 6, 2025, from 6:30-8:30pm, as we present “Depolarizing Conversations: Turning Arguments into Conversations”. Polarizing conversations can occur even without specific policy issues. This event aims to build skills that help prevent tense conversations from becoming arguments. This event is an adaptation of “Depolarizing Within” but without the political party references. This event teaches the “LAPP Skills”: Listen, Acknowledge, Pivot, and Perspective, using non-partisan examples, while also emphasizing creating open honest dialogue.

As always, please be prepared for an interesting, enlightening, and critical thinking discussion. As always, engage open-minded active listening skills, non-violent communication practices, and help us ensure that we create a comfortable environment open to all viewpoints.
