Los Liones Hike

Last chance for a 2011 hike!

This will be a fun hike to a nice view point from the Los Liones trailhead in Pacific Palisades. Meet at the trailhead at 8:30 a.m.

It is a good uphill hike (1500 ft) to the view point and then back down the same way. Takes about 3 hours - it's seven miles round trip. Great views and a good workout. We'll be back in plenty of time for the night's festivities.

Please be on time, we leave promptly at 8:30. No dogs.

Trailhead location: PCH to Sunset Blvd., go east 1/4 mile to Los Liones Drive, turn left (north), and go about half a mile. Los Liones will make a very sharp left turn, that's where the trailhead is. You'll see a small parking lot, across from the church. There's plenty of street parking. Map: 575 Los Liones Drive, Pacific Palisades, 90272.

Remember to bring water, snacks, sunscreen, and maybe a hat. Rain cancels.

I've not led a hike for this group for a while, but have led this hike several times, and hiked it many times.
