hike solstice canyon

The next hike will be solstice canyon. It is a 3 mile loop. 600 foot elevations gain/loss. to get there take the 10 freeway west to where it turns into Pacific Coast Highway. Take pch north to Corral Canyon Road. This will be just past Pepperdine Univ. Turn right on to Corral Canyon. Proceed to the first bend in the road, less than 1/4 a mile. There will be a big sign that says "Solstice Canyon". Turn left into the road way for the park and go to the end and park. Carpooling recommended. Trail head starts there. Bring water it may be hotter than usual. Dogs are okay but on a leash only. Okay hike for beginners. Hope to see you there. Norman
