Temescal peak

Greetings all my next hike will be to Temescal peak. To get there take the 10 west to Pacific Coast hwy north to Sunset Bl. Turn right onto Sunset Bl and go to Palisades Dr. turn left onto Palisades Dr and go to Via Las Palmas. Turn Right on to Via Las Palmas go to the end. Park past the circle in the lot with a SMALL gate. This is the trail head. Hike is a there and back type of hike 550 foot elevation gain/loss 6 miles long. There are two peaks we will be climbing Temescal is one of them. The first one was some sort of look out, The picturers from both wil be fantastic. Bring water as it is an unshaded ridge we will be hiking on for the most part. Hope to see you there. Norman
