PAMG Event: Arizona Secular Family Camping Trip

This is our second year of camping! This year we will be driving up Mingus Mountain. We’ll meet at the picnic area where 89 and forest road 104 meet at 4:30, then we’ll drive up together. If you’ll be arriving at a different time, just head towards the tent camping area indicated on the signs!

There is a small lake near the camp for fishing. There are lots of hiking trails, and there is a hang-glider launch site. We’ll have games and activities for the kids (and big kids).

Last year we had a few members in charge of food for the whole group. If you would like to be part of that instead of bringing your own meals, please let us know so we can plan on how much to bring.

There are latrines, but no running water. You’ll have to bring your own water for cooking, cleaning, and drinking.

The campsites are $6 a night per car. There is a separate RV area that is $10 a night. Up to 10 people can occupy a single campsite, and they are close to each other so we’ll be able to stay together. We’ll combine our group into as few campsites as possible. Please bring cash to pay for the campsite!
