Everyone MUST Register to volunteer with AZSA here and all children must be accompanied by an adult.

Next date: Saturday, October 25, 2025 | 07:30 AM to 12:00 PM

Join us for a Community Tree Event! Residents and businesses are invited to help plant up to 100 trees at this large-scale planting event and then stay for an informative discussion about Mesa’s urban forest.
7:30 a.m. - Volunteer Check-in Begins
8 a.m. to Noon - Welcome, Tree Planting, *Green Stormwater Installation, and Tree Talks.

Partners include The Nature Conservancy, Arizona Sustainability Alliance, Watershed Management Group, Unlimited Potential, Trees Matter, Arizona Columbine Garden Club and the Garden Club of America.
*Green Stormwater Infrastructure (GSI) uses natural systems to manage rainwater. Instead of letting rain run off streets and rooftops and cause flooding or pollution, GSI directs it into landscaped areas. There, the water soaks into the ground, nourishing plants and helping to clean the water. This approach also shades and cools areas, creates wildlife habitats, and generally improves our communities.
