HSGP Navigators @ Gilbert Riparian Bird Walk Sat Dec 20, 8am

Come join HSGP’s Navigators at the Gilbert Riparian Preserve for a family bird walk Saturday Dec 20 at 8am.

Join Desert Rivers Audubon Society at the Dragonfly Ramada of the Riparian Preserve on every third Saturday of the Month from 8 AM - 12 PM, October through March, for free Family Bird Walks.

You can expect:

• A short walk
• A family friendly introduction to the birds of the Preserve from an expert birder
• Liberty Wildlife attends some Saturdays with an exhibition of live raptors

You need only bring yourself and your walking shoes! Binoculars will be provided for the duration of the walk.

The Early Birds: The Early Birds is a kid’s birding club open to ages 7-13 that meets immediate prior to the Family Bird Walks, at 7:30 AM on the dates below. Parents and grandparents are welcome to come along with this group.

After the guided bird tour, we can check out the playground, dinosaur dig, or explore the library

Please note we need to collect registration forms for all participating scouts. Ages under 6 will be Stargazers, 6-11 Juniors, 12+ Seniors. Forms can be emailed to Beth and Bebe thru navigators@hsgp.org
