Our special guest speaker, Michael Letwin (http://michaelletwin.wordpress.com/about/), will provide an update on growing support for the Palestinian-led movement for Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS (http://www.bdsmovement.net/)) campaign, including the Block the Boat (https://www.facebook.com/BlocktheBoatNYC) movement and upcoming vote in UAW Local 2865 (http://mondoweiss.net/2014/11/unionizing-solidarity-grassroots).

Mr. Letwin is former president of the Association of Legal Aid Attorneys/UAW Local 2325 (https://alaa2325.wordpress.com/), and co-founder of Labor for Palestine (http://laborforpalestine.net/) and Jews for Palestinian Right of Return (http://jfpror.wordpress.com/).
He is a founding member of Block the Boat NYC, a member of the Organizing Collective of the U.S. Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel (http://www.usacbi.org/), and veteran of the antiwar, anti-racist and anti-apartheid movements since the 1960s.
Please note that because this meeting is being held in a restaurant, food and adult beverage of your choice will be available for purchase. To allow our speaker to be uninterrupted, let's do food service early, say until 7:15 or so. Because we must vacate the room at 9:00 PM, we can always eat later, downstairs.
