HIKE: Flores Peak From Gibraltar Rock!

WHAT: Flores Peak Hike from Gibraltar Rock/Optional Climb on Gibraltar Rock
WHEN: March 7, 2026 at 10:00AM Note Late Start Time!
WHERE: Meet at the Moorish Fountain in Front of the Santa Barbara Mission at 10:00AM to carpool to the trailhead.
BRING: Snack or Lunch and at least a half liter of water

We will drive to Gibraltar Rock, above the Rattlesnake Trail. We will then hike a steep, primitive, little-known trail to Flores Peak. The Wednesday hikers sometimes call this "The Medicine Circle". Elevation gain is about 700 feet in only a half mile! Short but very steep! I STRONGLY recommend a hiking pole! Please bring water and a snack or lunch.

As you can see, it is quite a beautiful hike! If you are OK with a steep, primitive trail with some rock hopping, please join us!
