Humanist and nudist, Charles Perkins, will discuss why he became a naturist 50-odd years ago. He will say a bit about Lupin Lodge, a naturist retreat. He will discuss the emotional and physical benefits claimed by naturism, as well as the history and laws about nudism.
In addition to raising a naturist family and participating in local naturist organizations for many years, Charles has heavily supported the NEF nudist research library, served on the board of The Naturist Society, founded Portland Naturists, supported nudist participation in Bay to Breakers, Pride Parade, and other Bay Area nudist events. In his professional career he has published many technical articles and equipment specifications to support wireless communications and networking.
