How the US Is Destroying Young People’s Future is an 18-minute TED talk by Scott Galloway. In it he describes how programs and policies in the U.S. take money from the needy and give it to the wealthy. His speaking style is both humorous and angry, and (you’re forewarned) he places much of this injustice on the shoulders of us older Americans.

Prof. Galloway was born November 3, 1964 and grew up in Los Angeles, California. He is a clinical professor of marketing at the New York University Stern School of Business, public speaker, author, podcast host, and entrepreneur. He was elected to the 1999 class of the World Economic Forum’s “Global Leaders of Tomorrow, which recognizes 100 people under 40 who have had impact on a global level.

Galloway self-describes as an atheist. He advises his students not to follow their passion, but to follow their talent.
