Screening: Pinocchio, Sat 19 September 1:15pm, GOMA Cinémathèque

Join us for a screening of 'The Adventures of Pinocchio' at the Gallery of Modern Art (GOMA).

The 1996 film is a close adaptation of the classic Italian novel and, though aimed at children, it muses deeply on philosophical themes of morality, desire, and the human condition.

In the protagonist's longing to become human we are invited to meditate on what precisely this means.

The screening will be followed by discussion at the GOMA Cafe.

Meet from 1pm in the GOMA Cinémathèque foyer for 1:15 pm screening. Screening is free, no bookings required.
