Australian Centre for Contemporary Art

For this Meetup we’ll visit the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art in the Melbourne Arts Precinct. Their current exhibition, called Between Waves, highlights work of ten South East Australian First Nations artists and collectives. The exhibition “amplifies concepts related to light, time and vision – and the idea of shining a light on our times – expressed by the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung word ‘Yalingwa’”. Then we'll grab something to drink and eat in a nearby quiet(ish) place to discuss what we've seen, or just to enjoy some informal catchup time with our new and existing members. Questions and discussion about humanism are welcome but optional. We'll officially finish at 5pm but, depending where we are, we can stay on later if we want.
