F.I.L.M. Series: See a great foreign or independent film, meet new people, and join the F.I.L.M. discussion.
Foreign and Independent Library Movies are shown on the second Friday of every month at the Main Library, preceeded by a short film and followed by an informal, optional discussion. Light refreshments are provided by the library; the conversation will move to New Seasons Orenco Station at 8:15 PM. This event is FREE.

Most movies in the Library's F.I.L.M. series are from the Film Movement (http://www.filmmovement.com/index.asp) catalog of independent, award-winning foreign films. Films are added to the Library's collection after screening.
The F.I.L.M. series is open to adults 18 and older. Movies are not previewed and may contain scenes or elements that are appropriate for mature audiences only.

After the Meetup, we will provide a ride to the nearest Max station for members who arrive by TriMet, which has no bus scheduled at library closing time.
All Meetup fees are paid by the Humanists of Greater Portland through your memberships; donations towards the work of HGP are gratefully accepted.
