Comprehensive and Inclusive Sex Education in Oregon
Framed by the lens of reproductive justice, and broadened to address the experiences and needs of sexually diverse communities, modern comprehensive sex ed aims to provide young people with the information, access, and agency to make safe and fulfilling decisions about their sexuality. Natalie Burton is an educator with Planned Parenthood Columbia Willamette. She provides training and education on sexual and reproductive health to youth and youth-serving professionals. Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, she is mother to three adolescents.
