Getting Thru the Storm
Meetings will have to be virtual until the Virus in brought under control. There are over 700 peoples on this Humanist site alone and thousands around the world. We can do much to help. As individuals, with our Aspirations front and center, we can be a vital resource to help people avoid panic, be constructive, and cooperative.

What Did We Know and When Did We Know It?
We know that this virus started because poor people in some parts of the world eat food that doesn’t meet minimum standards for human consumption. Meanwhile their leaders use their resources amassing wealth and building tools of war. We know that our leaders are using our resources to amass obscene wealth and building tools of war. Meanwhile we have an expensive sub standard health care system, an education system that leaves precious intellects below their potential, a shameful alcohol and drug abuse culture with chuck full prisons. In America we have the framework of a powerful democracy to correct our problems almost instantly and without bloodshed.
Now we have the leaders who 75% of us knew were incompetent, derelict, and dishonest by the beginning of 2020 pretending they can fix the virus problem. They don’t have the decency to resign and open a lane for the enormously talented Americans who would quickly fill the ranks with clean hands and good judgment and hard work.
It has been said; “Don’t change horses in the middle of the stream”. It is also true that you don’t ride a lame horse into a raging river; and you sure don’t let the lunatics run the asylum.

We, everyone on the planet are part of the madness. We have overpopulated the earth. We are wasting resources bringing us perilously close to destroying the balance of nature. We are addicted to political, religious and cultural leadership plans that can only create war and other forms of disaster
We know how STUPID AND DANGEROUS all of this is.
We have known all this for a long time.
It was obvious at the end of WW I in 1918
It was undeniable at Hiroshima in 1945
Even Pogo told us in 1971
