An Examination of Physician-Assisted Death (PAD)

Details
This meeting is hosted via ZOOM by The Humanists of Birmingham Unitarian Church, and is open to all interested Humanists. It is listed as a courtesy by the Humanists of Southeast Michigan, but is not necessarily endorsed by the HSEM. It will be held on Sunday, March 19th, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and the topic for discussion will be “An Examination of Physician-Assisted Death (PAD)”
PAD is legal in several countries and only eleven U.S. states, not including Michigan. This meeting will explore the arguments for and against legalizing this controversial procedure. Contrasting viewpoints will be presented via video by philosopher and humanist A.G. Grayling and Dr. Catherine Sleeman, a palliative care consultant.
