Science Sunday: Climate Change through Geologic Ages
Details
On November 2nd Jim Haheneberg will give us a geologist’s viewpoint on Climate Change. Jim has a Master’s degree in Geology, has worked for 9 years in oil and gas exploration, and 26 additional years for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
His talk will cover long term planet history, climate changes, extinctions, and what it means for the future. He wants to leave a viable planet for his daughter and generations yet to come.
This talk is especially relevant and appropriate for our whole community at DUUC and the whole Humanist world. Children are especially invited and welcome to this discussion. There will be time at the end for discussion. Hope you can make it!
