About us

Humanists of Topeka is a secular Humanist community rooted in reason, compassion, and evidence-based thinking. We're an official chapter of the American Humanist Association and an affiliate of American Atheists, connecting us to a national network of secular advocacy and support.

We explore what it means to live an ethical, meaningful life without religion — engaging with philosophy, science, human rights, and culture along the way. Topics include secularism, church-state separation, ethics, sustainability, LGBTQ+ rights, and social justice.

Join us for monthly colloquiums, coffee klatches, Happy Humanist Hours, book studies, and volunteer opportunities. We come together to build community, support each other, and put humanist values into action.
