📚 Humanist Book Club Update — Part Two of The Demon-Haunted World
🗓 Wednesday, February 25, 2026
⏰ 5:30 p.m.
📍 Classic Bean | Fairlawn Plaza
Last night’s discussion reminded us of something very human: life happens. Many of us didn’t get a chance to finish (or even start) Carl Sagan’s The Demon-Haunted World, and we barely scratched the surface of its big ideas.
So we’re doing what reasonable people do.
We’re continuing the conversation.
Our February Humanist Book Club will be Part Two of The Demon-Haunted World — giving everyone more time to read, reflect, and really dig into Sagan’s call for critical thinking, wonder, and intellectual courage.
📖 If you haven’t started yet, this is your sign.
📖 If you started, keep going.
📖 If you finished, come help guide the rest of us.
And looking ahead…
👉 Our next book (after Sagan):
Four Thousand Weeks: Time Management for Mortals by Oliver Burkeman
That way everyone can be prepared once we wrap up The Demon-Haunted World.
Bring a friend. Grab a drink. Let’s talk about what actually matters. ☕📖
Reason. Compassion. Community.
