Humanists of Topeka Movie Night
Details
You’re invited to join fellow members of Humanists of Topeka for a casual movie outing!
We’ll be meeting to watch "Project Hail Mary" together at B&B Theatres Wheatfield 9 in Topeka.
Date: Tuesday, April 24, 2026
Movie Time: 7:00 p.m.
Location: B&B Theatres Wheatfield 9, Topeka
For anyone interested, we’ll also gather a little earlier for food, cocktails, and conversation starting at 6:00 p.m. at the theater before the show.
Project Hail Mary explores themes that resonate strongly with humanism: the power of science, human curiosity, international cooperation, and the willingness to use reason and evidence to solve problems that affect all of humanity. It’s a story about what people can accomplish when we work together and rely on knowledge rather than superstition.
This is a relaxed chance to enjoy a thoughtful science-fiction film and spend time together as a community. Friends and family are welcome.
If you plan to attend, consider arriving early so we can grab seats together and catch up before the movie begins.
Hope to see you there!
