About us
The Humanitarian AI meetup community links local groups in fifteen cities. We try to give students, AI experts and others opportunities to interface with staff from humanitarian organizations through live and virtual discussions, volunteer projects and through our Humanitarian AI Today podcast, the most widely recognized channel covering humanitarian applications of artificial intelligence.
Humanitarian AI meetup groups are located in: Cambridge, San Francisco, Seattle, New York City, Montreal, Toronto, London, Paris, Berlin, Oslo, Geneva, Zurich, Bangalore, Tel Aviv and Tokyo. Members are encouraged to support the community’s mission through actively following and rating via your favorite podcast player and through following us on LinkedIn.

Partner Event: Google Cloud & AI Train-the-Trainer Roadshow - Paris

Geared for tech community leads in France, the all-day Roadshow event will bring community leads together to learn about Google and Deepmind’s latest Cloud and AI technologies - from Gemini, CLI to Antigravity and set leads up to confidently share their knowledge with their developer communities.

Partner Event: Designing Ethical AI Systems, A hands-on Workshop
·OnlineOnlineOur partners at Aggregate Intellect have launched a free AI Agent Learning Series and our meetup community is getting involved in supporting the initiative.
On February 20th at 10:00 AM EST, Amir Feizpour, Founder, CEO and Chief Scientist at Aggregate Intellect will host a workshop on ethical AI systems featuring Lena Shakurova, Founder of ParsLbas, who will discuss applied ethic frameworks, design changes for trustworthy AI and spotting AI risks early. As AI adoption accelerates, ethics can’t remain theoretical. This workshop empowers teams to embed responsibility into design and architecture from day one, helping organizations build AI systems that are not only effective, but trustworthy, fair, and sustainable.

Lena Shakurova is the founder & CEO at ParsLabs, Conversational AI agency and Chatbotly, a no-code platform for building AI assistants trained on custom data. Since 2018, her agency has helped hundreds of companies with their AI projects, from strategy to production. Prior to this, Lena worked as an NLP Research Engineer and Full-Stack Developer. Lena focuses on ethical, user-first AI, leveraging her expertise in Linguistics & AI to create responsible AI solutions that drive business results.
